Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future Capital Campaign

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR

Dear St. Barnabas Parish Family,

As a growing parish, Saint Barnabas is a pivotal 7me in its history. With an amazing legacy of more than 65 years, we now have the unique opportunity to build upon this steadfast foundation. Our church building, which is the cornerstone of our campus, has not been renovated in over 40 years; now is the 7me to bring much-needed aesthetic and functional improvements to this important space to meet the needs of this and the next generation.

I am routinely amazed by the generosity of Saint Barnabas parishioners, and the “Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future” Capital Campaign is no exception. We have received tremendous support so far, as parishioners continue stepping up in big ways. I humbly ask if you can consider joining our cause to support this important endeavor that is for the good of our parish. We are one body in Christ, and I have made my pledge to this campaign; will you join me with your support? I am going to do my limited part from my limited means, and if we all collectively join together to each do our limited part, I have faith that God can use our communal generosity’s unlimited potential to make great things happen!

Within this microsite you will find a project overview, case for giving, proposed architectural renderings, and a FAQ of common queries.  Please consider your own financial situation, and prayerfully decide how you can contribute. Also, pledges can be made over five years.

Some may be able to pledge more, and others less, but it is our hope that everyone can make a sacrificial donation that is suitable to their unique situation, based on their individual faith experiences and financial positions. Pledge cards mailed can be returned at Mass on the weekend of December 7-8, which is Commitment Sunday Weekend.

Thank you again for considering our request. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Your decision to invest Saint Barnabas today will ensure a strong and viable tomorrow as we strive together to bring the Nordonia Hills community closer to Christ.

Sincerely,

Fr. James Kulway

Pastor

OUR FAITH

Our church is the heart of our spiritual life, where we gather to celebrate the sacraments, grow in our faith, and strengthen our connection to God. The renovation will ensure that our sacred spaces are improved upon to even more reflect the beauty, reverence, and  our worship space generations to come.

OUR FAMILY

St. Barnabas is more than just a church—it’s a family. Together, we have celebrated life’s most important moments, supported one another, and built lasting relationships. This campaign will allow us to create more welcoming and accessible spaces for all, ensuring that everyone feels at home in our parish.

OUR FUTURE

We are called to be stewards of our parish, preserving and enhancing our facilities for future generations. Through this campaign, we will make essential improvements to the most essential building on our campus, ensuring that St. Barnabas Parish remains a vibrant and thriving community of faith that accompanies the Nordonia Hills community to Christ.
